Last Updated 01/11/1999:

Issue 2-001: CEBible Version 2.0 Build 0928 Install v1.0 - When installing CEBible v2.0 with the install (setup) v1.0, the program will not complain if the Translation Index disk is inserted when the install program is asking for the Translation disk. The install will continue, but when it reaches the point of installing the translation, the install will fail with a PPCLoad error. CEBible will be installed, but there will be no translations in its list.
Cause: Software bug in the install program.
Workaround: Run the install (setup) program again, and select the option to "Install Another Bible Translation". When the install program asks for the "Old Testament or Translation Disk", be sure and insert the Translation disk for the translation you are installing. For users with v1.0 to v2.0 upgrades, use the translation disk that came with CEBible v1.0. Then, when the install program asks for the "Translation Index" disk, use the corresponding translation index disk that came with your v2.0 order or v1.0-v2.0 upgrade. The install program will then install your Bible Translation.
Fixed in:Setup v1.1 (with Build 0929) and later builds.

Issue 2-002: CEBible Version 2.0 Build 0928 - New Outline "Save" or "Save As" on Palm-size PCs - When creating a new outline on Palm-size PCs, the machine will sometimes return an error when you try to do a "Save" or a "Save As". This does not affect HPCs or opening and saving existing outlines on Palm-size PCs.
Cause: Operating system common dialog bug that causes an extra backslash to be placed in front of the internal filename (e.g. "\\My Documents\Outline.txt").
Workaround: When saving the file, tap the Options button. Tap the "Type" drop down list to select "Plain Text Files (*.txt)" and tap OK. Then tap the OK button and the file will save. If you are repeatedly affected by this bug, contact SLSoftware for the latest build.
Fixed in:CEBible v2.0 Build 0929 and later builds.

Issue 2-003: CEBible Version 2.0 Builds 0928 and 0929 - Range button in Search Dialog on SH3 Machines - On some SH3 HPCs, selecting the Range button in the Search Dialog can cause CEBible to stop responding.
Cause: Compiler configured with wrong option for these builds.
Workaround: To close CEBible, hold ALT and press TAB to get the Task Manager. Select CEBible or the item with a Bible passage as the title, and Tap End task. Contact SLSoftware for the latest build.
Fixed in: CEBible v2.0 Builds 0930 and later builds.

Issue 2-004: CEBible Version 2.0 Builds 0931 and previous - PPC Dialogs too wide / strange fonts on PPCs - On some PPCs and potentially other machines, the dialogs appear too wide or appear with strange fonts.
Cause: The user or manufacturer has copied font files into \Windows\Fonts, and Windows CE incorrectly chooses a font to replace MS Sans Serif (the default, not included in some PSPCs.) This replacement font can be wider than the default system font (Tahoma) and can cause dialogs to appear too wide to fin the screen.
Workaround: Close CEBible and connect your machine to your desktop machine. Open the Mobile Devices window, select your machine, and select Tools>File Conversion. Make sure that for the types ".ttf" and ".fon", the conversion is to ".fnt" (raster fonts). In the Mobile devices window, open the directory \Windows\Fonts. Open an Explorer window on your desktop machine and open the directory \Windows\Fonts as well. Drag the file "MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24" or "sserife.fon" (or whatever the file for "MS Sans Serif" is on your machine) to the \Windows\Fonts directory in Mobile Devices. The file conversion dialog should give you a list of font sizes to convert - choose at least 8, 10, and 12 point. When these files transfer and you restart CEBible, all should be normal.
Fixed in: CEBible v2.0 Builds 0932 and later builds.

Issue 2-005: CEBible Version 2.0 Builds 0931 and previous - Outline disappears after Save - The user saves a changed outline, selects a passage, and returns to the outline, and the outline is blank.
Cause: Software bug.
Workaround: Re-open the outline. If you are repeatedly affected by this bug, contact SLSoftware for an update.
Fixed in: CEBible v2.0 Builds 0932 and later builds.

Issue 2-006: CEBible Version 2.0 Setup v1.1 and Previous - Setup is Asking for Index Disk - On installing an international language translation, the setup program is asking for an index disk and won't proceed without one.
Cause: Earlier versions of the setup required index disks.
Workaround: Download a new Setup.exe, make a copy of your install disk, and copy this new Setup.exe onto your install disk copy. Use this new version to install your translation, and when it asks if there is an Index Disk with this translation, answer No.
Fixed in:CEBible Install (Setup.exe) v 1.2 and later.

If you have an issue with CEBible v2.0 that is not included in this list, please contact with as complete a description as possible and we will investigate. Thanks for your support of CEBible!
